Personal Statement
Personal statement practice template
I have used a structural personal statement frame which was created on Microsoft word. the frame consists of questions in chronological order, the questions are based on you as a person, your skills, personal quantities and aspirations for the future. I used the frame to answer the questions in my own words to the best of my ability in the answer boxes provided. After having it checked over and editing it I created a new word document for my professional personal statement, I then copied the answers on the frame and pasted them onto the real document where I structured them into chronological order of paragraphs as you can see in the original post below.
Professional personal statement
This is my personal statement which I have created on Microsoft Word, I created the personal statement for higher education purposes like universities or higher apprenticeships. The personal statement consists of information that includes my skills, personal quantities, work/project experience and aims why I would like to go further into higher education for the course I picked and a elaboration on why I would be an outstanding student and why the university should pick me as their student and what I would do after acquiring my degree.
Importance of personal statement
A personal statement is one of the necessities for when applying for and going into higher education (university). The statement is required to be personal, engaging and most of all written by yourself. A personal statement is used to showcase your personality, accomplishment's, skills, experience, determination and ambitious, towards what you would like to do with the degree you would acquire. Universities want to research and know their potential student and why they would a great asset to have in their educational community. When including all those parts of key information you create a self pitch for educators to show them that you are the right person for this university course and why they should pick you as a student.
